You will like Apple Vision Pro

Several weeks ago, I was staying at a hotel in Costa Mesa, California.

I was walking the wolf baby (husky) and stumbled upon a rather interesting scene.

There were 3 “street peeps.” A pair of people who appeared to be a couple, cobbling together something that appeared really important to them. Maybe a stash of something, something.

And a third gentleman. Sitting on a park bench. Maybe 37-40ish. with an an Oculus headset on. I asked myself, “Self, am I in the future”? Or did this fellow just grab an Oculus from someone’s trash? Maybe both?

Fast forward and the Apple Vision Pro has been released.

And we see this and other humans on the streets casually strolling around while also in the Apple Dimension.

Described not as a “$3500 VR headset” but instead Apple has rebranded Augmented Reality as “Spatial Computing”.

“Apple Vision Pro seamlessly blends digital content with your physical space.”

So the question is, will this along with Computer Brain Interfaces, be the beginning of the cyborg generation? Will we become Lobot?

Lobot in case you have no idea who or what that is… was this guy from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. While we just saw this as Lando Calrissian’s cyborg Valet (he was) the Star Wars comics expanded on Lobot’s back story and connection to Lando:

“Lobot, also known by the nickname Lo, was a male human from the planet Bespin who, with the assistance of his AJ^6 cyborg construct, was paid to run battlefield calculations for the Galactic Empire.”

Holy Bantha Fodder, is THIS what Palmer Luckey was inspired by? (aka the founder of Oculus aka the now founder of Military A.I. Contractor Startup Anduril)??

The mocking of the Inception has already begun as the cutting edge amongst us aka The Nerds have hit the streets and cars of the world…and are already graduating from having to hold cell phones to Being The Cell Phone.

Apple isn’t toe dipping with a device 7X the price of competitors. Apple has already figured something out we thought was just silly.

Humans are already integrated with their computers.

They have just been forced to hold them in their hands.

This is starting to feel like something different.

THEN and NOW:

While the head gear of the Apple Vision Pro looks like a Transformers version of 80s Dental Headgear, it clearly looks cooler straight on. And why would you care? You have dropped $3500 on Spatial Computer Ski Gogggles, not some cheaper Oculus or LG VR headset.

This is the REAL DEAL this time. The key to turning something otherwise impossibly ridiculous? Be invested in it.

$3500 Invested.

We’ve seen a bunch of layoffs by big tech lately. Is it because of ChatGPT? Apparently investing in A.I,. is a priority over analog human meat sacks. Whats worse, getting a straight answer out of a human or — an image you were expecting out of Midjourney? This might be rhetorical. A.I. will increasingly win.

My dream is that a 5 person company + A.I. becomes a billion dollar startup. Peter Diamandis has stated that there will soon be a “Three person Billion Dollar Startup.”

Now, now Sam Altman is talking about: The 1 person, Billion Dollar A.I. Startup

Well lets just say it. One of these kids with an Apple Vision will be the next Billion Dollar 1 person startup. How can humans possibly compete? Non startup founders? Well your answer might be Lobot yourself. Augment your human with some cyborg skills.

Lobot merged with Cyborg gear and what is more human than a Super Computerized Human (SCH)?

“You” merging with an Apple Vision Pro might be your way to be better than stand alone humans; and better than A.I.. Imagine getting A.I. assistance on comments in meetings, decisions and reporting in your Apple Vision Pro Goggles that Salesforce would cower at. Swiping in the air to move images around on a Virtual Page that you share to your fellow Apple Vision Pro Gogglers.

We already have heard that Elon Musk’s Neuralink implanted its first Computer Brain Interface in a Human (a few days after Tesla missed some targets- coincidence? No, no there are no coincidences.)

This is not your older Nerd Brother’s Oculus kids, Apple. Neuralink and others are forecasting the future of Work.

The question becomes will you implant or wear a Spatial Computer; and what is that worth vs an ordinary humans without Super Computer Skills? 1.5X better? 10X better? Mandatory? With OpenAI and Microsoft in talks to drop $500M into Brett Adock’s Figure.ai what will you do simplistic human to compete?

You’ll have plenty of time to think about it now that you’re on the street with your Oculus, waiting for an Apple Vision Pro along with the rest of us mortals.
