It is our pleasure to introduce our next guest, Cindy Padnos, founder of Illuminate Ventures, a seed stage fund that invests exclusively in the enterprise or B2B software category.

Prior to starting Illuminate, Cindy had built up a strong career as an entrepreneur, working for several venture backed companies and founding an early enterprise software SaaS company. After her business was acquired by a public company, she decided to delve in the direction of VCs in the SaaS industry. Following her completion of several apprenticeships and investing positions with notable VCs, Cindy decided to combine her knowledge of VCs with that of entrepreneurship, creating Illuminate. Illuminate Ventures was among the first seed stage firms to focus exclusively on the enterprise stage of growing a startup.

For a future episode, Cindy nominates Neha Sampat, the CEO and Founder of Contentstack, a “modern Content Management System and Content Experience Platform.”
