It was a pleasure to welcome Will Porteous, general partner and Chief Operating Officer of RRE Ventures, as our next guest on the Form Your Own Pack Podcast. Will has been working at RRE as a member of the investment team for the past 22 years and has led many activities in the hardware and systems area, encompassing companies in the space sector and those that offer innovations in storage systems. When investing, Will pursues companies whose leaders have a deep and personal understanding of the problem they are solving and the value their organisation will bring to the market. As a case study to where RRE is headed in the space sector, he references Lynk, a small company in RRE’s portfolio which has allowed phones on Earth to be connected to satellites in space, a crucial first step in the journey to universal mobile broadband connectivity.
