Eren Canarslan is making gas car manufacturers look like dinosaurs

Olympian Motors is Making The Coolest EVs in the World

Y Combinator cohort company Olympian Motors' CEO Eren Canarlsan sat down with the Founders Pack Podcast to discuss his revolutionary electric vehicle company. Olympian Motors is based in New York and is dedicated to changing the status quo in automotive design by bringing aesthetic, color, experience, and minimalism back to cars.

In the interview, Canarlsan discussed how Olympian Motors is engineering a new modular-vehicle and modular-manufacturing model that has resulted in an 80% reduction in tooling and labor costs and approximately 60% faster production lead time. This has allowed Olympian Motors to reinvent car manufacturing and bring agility, speed, and cost-efficiency back to the U.S. automotive industry.

One of the unique features of Olympian Motors is their commitment to using carbon-sequestered and recyclable materials for over 4% of vehicle components. They prioritize aesthetic, nature, and minimalism in their car designs and use steel and wood rather than cheap plastic and toxic chemicals. The cockpit is minimalistic and powered by the Olympian Operating System (OOS).

Canarlsan also notes that Olympian Motors has super-competitive battery efficiency in urban areas, with early prototypes achieving slightly better miles/kwh efficiency than the Tesla Model 3 and Rivian. The company's commercial launch is scheduled for Q3/2023, and unlike other EV companies, they don't waste time/resources.
